eBay Trade Assistant - FAQ'S

What will you sell?
R&G Trading will sell any item that we are satisfied meets eBay selling policies and that we are happy that you are the legal owner of the item for sale.

Do you need the item during the auction?
The item can be taken/left with R&G Trading during the auction, or if it is substantially large or valuable it may remain with the customer. If an item is left with the customer however, we may require access to it or additional information from you in order to respond to prospective buyer’s queries.

Can I change my mind during the auction?
It is possible to retract an item from sale on eBay prior to it receiving any bids. However once the item has received a bid you are committed to selling it and it cannot be retracted.

Can I sell ‘dodgy’ items through R&G Trading?
R&G Trading will report any approaches to sell illegal items to eBay, or if necessary to the police. We will only sell items that are within eBay's trading policies and when we are happy that you are the legal owner of the items.

What if I have questions after I begin the process?
R&G Trading will honour any deadlines and will always quote you fairly for this service. We are always contactable and are able to discuss any issues with you at at any time during the process.

What is a trading assistant?
eBay Trading Assistants can sell items on eBay on behalf of others. Trading Assistants operate independently as eBay sellers, and are not employees, agents, or partners of eBay. eBay Trading Assistants are responsible for complying with all eBay policies, and must meet specific requirements to be listed in the Trading Assistants Directory. R&G Trading meets all these requirments and also has public liability insurance to offer you peace of mind reagrding your items whilst they are in our care.

Where will you collect from?
R&G Trading are happy to collect your items for you for free within a 5 mile radius of TR4, we will also be more than happy to collect your items from a wider area however collection will be charged at 45p a mile, after the first 5 miles.

Can I drop off my items?
Items can be dropped off directly at R&G Trading's premises, at any time however an appointment must be made.
